When students are not successful in the classroom and have not utilized other resources available to them, faculty members may refer them to Project Care. This outreach program contacts a student who is having significant difficulty in the classroom. The faculty member requests that Student Support Services intervene. Project Care then contacts the student’s advisor to notify him or her of the potential concern and then makes every effort to contact the student and intervene. If the problem is not resolved at this level, Project Care may intercede on behalf of the student in the Academic Affairs Office to achieve an equitable resolution.
If you are a faculty member, please send your concerns to the Project Care team by clicking on the link found here and completing the referral form.
