Jet Pre-Check

Jet Pre-Check are our annual onboarding events for new students to get setup and be ready for a successful flight as a Newman University student. During these events, students will be guided through many different on-boarding processes including academic advising, student account setup, parking permits, etc.

Upcoming Pre-Check events: June 11, July 9th
New students will receive emails notifying them of registration steps to attend. If you haven't received an email at least a week before one of these events, please reach to [email protected]

Orientation Week

Newman University's New Student Orientation takes place typically mid-August and aims to help you successfully finalize your transition to the Jet community. We understand it may be time filled with excitement, but also nervousness. That's why our goal is to help you feel comfortable with your life as a Jet! 

As part of the program, you will: 

• Meet with Newman staff and get to know some of your peers
• Learn more about living at Newman University
• Be equipped with a list of campus resources to help you succeed 
• Get acquainted with our campus [View Campus Map]
• Attend various events to acclimate you with all Student Life has to offer
