Application Steps
Step 1 - Apply to Nurse Anesthesia Program
Create a new account or log into an existing account by clicking on the "apply" button below.
- Once you have logged in or created an account select “Start New Application” and choose “Doctorate”. (You will be asked to enter the contact information for the three required recommenders, so have that information available when starting your application.)
- Other required documents do not have to be submitted when creating an application, please go ahead and click “submit” once you have completed each section of the application.
Step 2 - Send Transcripts
Official Transcript(s) Official transcripts are required from all institutions previously attended.
- Official transcripts can be requested by contacting the previous institution or visiting their website.
- Transcripts can be mailed or emailed.

Step 3 - Upload Required Documents
Checklist Once you have submitted your application you will see a checklist in your application portal showing which items are still needed and a space at the bottom of the page to upload documents.
You can return to your application portal anytime by logging back in through the "apply" button to make sure your checklist is complete. From this checklist you are also able to send reminders to your recommenders if they have not returned their recommendation.
The deadline to receive all application materials for a complete application is August 31st.

MBA Admission Criteria
What are the admission criteria?
Undergraduate degree in any major
Minimum 3.0 GPA overall or 3.2 in the final 60 hours of coursework
What if I don’t have a 3.0 GPA?
Applicants not meeting the minimum GPA requirements for unconditional admission may still be considered for admission with other evidence of ability to complete the program of study. Contact the director of graduate admissions for specifics.
Is the GMAT or GRE required?
No.
Am I required to have work experience?
No.

What semesters can a student be admitted to the MBA program?
Any semester.
What are the application deadlines?
Admission is rolling, but to allow sufficient to time have your application reviewed, please submit all materials 2-3 weeks before your intended enrollment.
Are there any required prerequisite courses?
The MBA program highly recommends Financial Accounting, Macroeconomics, Statistics, and College Algebra.
Can I transfer graduate credit from another MBA program?
A maximum of 6 graduate credit hours may be transferred from other accredited institutions at the discretion of the MBA program director. Hours accepted for transfer must contribute to the student’s program of study and be preapproved by the program director.

Does Newman University offer payment plans?

The Higher Learning Commission is a regional accreditation agency that accredits degree granting institutions of higher education that are based in the 19-state North Central region of the United States. Institutions that HLC accredits are evaluated against HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation, a set of standards that institutions must meet to receive and/or maintain accredited status.
Complete your Elementary Education PreK-6 Degree in 16 months. This program is offered in multiple modalities, including evening classes, Zoom classes or fully online classes. This program is designed for paraprofessionals who have completed 60 credits or an associate degree.

Tuition is based on the 2024‐2025 Tuition Rate. Tuition rates do not include technology fees or course fees. Summer 2024 Tuition based on $515 per credit hour x 12 credit hours. The Kansas Teacher Service Grant and the TEACH Grant require you to complete a FAFSA, apply for each grant and be approved to receive it. The Kansas Teacher Service Grant is competitive and has an application deadline each year.
