We are a Catholic, online graduate program with the mission of preparing students for a life of teaching and learning through immersion in Catholic theology.
Our program is specifically designed to meet the needs of working adults who need an affordable and flexible online graduate program. Our graduates have a deeper understanding of Church teaching and are prepared to serve the Church in a range of catechetical roles.

In Graduate Theology
Newman University’s Graduate Theology program provides you with the knowledge and relevant skills to set you on the path to a fulfilling career.
While most graduates maintain other careers, we have had alumni go on to become high school religion teachers, DRE’s, diocesan staff, lay chaplains, music ministers, and a range of other positions in the Church and other Catholic organizations.
