Degree Requirements & Curriculum

Program Structure

15 credit hours | 5 courses | 1 year

Course Delivery: Eight-week courses delivered through flexible online format with live and recorded Zoom sessions.

Praxis Requirement: Candidates must complete the School Superintendent Assessment (SSA) Praxis prior to program completion and submit scores to Newman.

Admission Requirements

  • Completed Building Leadership program (master's degree + building leadership licensure)
  • Current administrative experience (recommended)
  • Application and transcripts

Important Financial Aid Information

Please note: Candidates for the District Leadership Licensure Program are considered non-degree seeking and therefore are not eligible for federal financial aid.
