Huachuan Wen has been working in education since he started his career in China over twenty years ago. Before coming to US to pursue his doctoral degree, he has taught students at almost all age levels. He has got his Doctor of Education degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the summer of 2015. Since joining Newman University the same year, he has been working as an elementary education faculty in the School of Education. He has taught a good variety of education courses across the “blocks” and a NSP course, besides advising students and supervising interns. Huachuan Wen has kept an active research agenda in most parts of his professional life. He has developed extensive interests in the fields of teacher education, instructional technology, second language teaching and learning, translation, and multicultural education. Huachuan Wen is also active in serving on multiple committees and taskforces on campus. He is chairing the Scholars Day committee during the 2019-20 academic year.
