Jessica Bird

Jessica Bird was born and raised in Hays, KS. She attended Fort Hays State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Jessica accepted her first teaching position in Garden City, KS in 1998. She taught ESOL and was a Reading Teacher for five years. Jessica became the associate principal and athletic director. She worked in that position until 2007, when she became the principal of Kenneth Henderson Middle School. Jessica is now the Assistant Dean for Outreach in Dodge City, KS. She has been in this role since 2014. Jessica has served on numerous non-profit boards, including Community Day Care Centers, Inc., Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and is currently serving on the Finney County United Way Board of Directors.
