Student Success Center

NEW Student Success Center

The mission of the Student Success Center is to support all Newman University students on their academic journey.

The Student Success Center is a central campus meeting place that offers academic recovery support, accommodations for students with disabilities, testing and tutoring services, and F-1 international student support. Sacred Grounds Cafe is located here and is open when Mabee Dining Hall is closed during the day. The Student Success Center provides career guidance via mock interviews, career exploration, co-op and internship support, and more. We assist international students, offer peer tutoring, and help students navigate Credit for Prior Learning. We understand that each student’s journey to success is unique. It is our goal to see all Newman students academically thrive. Stop by the Student Success Center to learn more!

Contact the Student Success Center by phone at 316-942-4291 extension 2318, by email at [email protected], or by visiting the Student Success Center on the first floor of Dugan Library.

Credit for Prior Learning

Credit for Prior Learning is a program created to provide recognition for the knowledge gained through work and/or life experience that is equivalent to the knowledge gained by taking a specific college course. Contact Newman's Student Support Specialist and review the CPL Handbook to see if CPL is right for you.
