Sculpture is all about the organization of mass, volume, scale and physical proximity. The sculptural process challenges each artist to investigate tactile, textural, physical properties of the materials. The traditional materials used in creating sculptural forms include clay, plaster, stone, wood, steel, aluminum and bronze. You will also have the opportunity to experiment with the less traditional forms of assemblage and installation. We challenge you to integrate new materials into your process resulting in unique three-dimensional compositions.
