A Peer Coaching Community of Practice (PCCP) is a collaborative practice in which instructors share and apply feedback on the basis of confidential classroom observations, and pre-and post-observation discussions. The aim is to strengthen instructional practices that support student learning and success.
The peer coaching practice is embedded in a confidential community of trusted colleagues committed to becoming reflective practitioners and choosing to continually adapt their teaching practices to maximize student learning.
Participants receive training in peer observation and coaching grounded in research-based practices. As a community, the PCCP works toward an understanding of effective teaching in higher education and builds strong relationships across disciplines.
