Program Outcomes
"I chose the Newman Nursing Program because of its reputation for academic excellence and impressively high first time NCLEX pass rate. Throughout the program I have enjoyed the small class size. As well as the prompt communication and availability of the nursing professors. This program is not easy and requires a significant amount of commitment. However, in the end I believe it has done a great job of preparing myself and other nursing students to enter the field of nursing."
Christopher Montgomery, CLASS OF 2018
"I chose Newman University nursing program for many reasons, such as the smaller class size, immediate clinical practice along with the didactic portion throughout the program and continued proven success of high passing rate with the NCLEX. The smaller class helps to develop a personal relationship with the professors that all have open door policies and have the opportunity for one on one learning environment in both the didactic and clinical parts of the program. During the first semester after six weeks of learning basic skills in the lab from then on out we are in the hospitals for clinicals two days a week, which provides a great learning opportunity and advantage. Lastly, I'm assured that the professors and program as a whole provide and teach to the necessary level to be a great nurse based upon the continued success of a high passing rate. I am assured I know I am getting the knowledge needed to be able to be a great nurse."
