About Our Sonography Program


This degree focuses on preparing you to use advanced medical imaging to assess human tissue, organs and blood flow.

  • Work in a variety of settings, including urban or rural medical centers and clinics
  • Provide ultrasounds
  • Perform appropriate procedures recording anatomical, pathological and/or physiological data for interpretation

While earning your Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, you can expect to take courses including Sectional Anatomy, Ultrasound Physics, and Vascular Sonography.

Program Curriculum

This degree trains you to be a highly skilled medical professional that performs diagnostic ultrasound testing under the supervision of a physician. Diagnostic medical sonography includes abdominal, obstetrical, vascular, cardiac and various sub-specialties.
