Please request official transcripts documenting receipt of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (Master in Theological Studies: degree in any field; Master of Arts in Theology: degree in Theology, Philosophy, History or related field). Please have transcripts send directly to Newman University.
Visit the school website(s) or use an online transcript request service such as the Student Clearinghouse to request transcripts. Transcripts can be sent to G[email protected]

PERSONAL STATEMENT
A typed personal essay of not more than 700 words describing the applicant’s interest in Theology and reasons and goals for pursuing graduate study in this area. Please submit personal statement to G[email protected]
WRITING SAMPLE – MASTER OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY ONLY
Provide an academic writing sample of approximately 8 – 10 pages demonstrating skills in critical thinking, logical argumentation and writing style from any field of study. ST. MARIA DE MATTIAS SCHOLARSHIP
For those seeking a scholarship from the St. Maria de Mattias Endowment, a letter of recommendation must come from the applicant’s pastor. Students from the Diocese of Wichita and Dodge City, Kansas, who are involved in any type of catechetical ministry, are eligible.
