Earn a Joint MSW/MBA
A joint program is designed to provide Social workers the skills they need to lead in their community
The Joint MSW/MBA program allows students to earn both the Master of Social Work and Master of Business Administration degrees. This program is ideal for social workers who wish to become leaders and managers within their organizations and communities.
Twelve credit hours of social work classes are applied to both degree programs which reduces the combined total of required classes to ninety (90) credit hours of coursework.
The program is open only to students enrolled in either the MSW or MBA programs at NU.
Twelve credit hours of the MSW curriculum count as a social work track for the MBA, reducing the the total number of credit hours to 90.

Applicants must satisfy the admission requirements of each program separately. Students enrolled in one of the programs must be admitted to the other program prior to completing the first degree.
