Earn a Pre-Pharmacy Degree
Take steps to build a foundation for future success in the pharmaceutical industry
The pre-pharmacy program at our prestigious private university is designed to give you the skills and knowledge necessary to enter medical school. We advise you to learn the admission requirements of the pharmacy school you plan to enter and then work with the pre-pharmacy advisors to fulfill those requirements. Meeting the requirements for acceptance into your ideal program is key to obtaining your dream career after graduation.
With one-on-one attention from the faculty, and the opportunity to shadow anywhere from 100-200 hours, you will gain a better understanding of the chosen medical field. Students studying pre-pharmacy can choose either biology and chemistry/physics as a foundation degree.

"I would definitely recommend Newman. I was an undergraduate student, and I stayed just because it’s worth any amount of money because you’re a person there. You get to know everyone. I know so many of the staff, the faculty, there’s nothing like it.”"
Krista Greenlee, Class of 2016
"The communication and teamwork, especially with my advisors, and having that small classroom size really helped me because it was one-on-one. They knew my name, and I wasn’t just a number."
Emily LIevan, CLASS OF 2016
