First-time Student Checklist

Jet Check is a valuable resource and tool for all students that includes specific details of everything that needs to be completed prior to the first day of the semester! Please bookmark this page for future use! GO JETS!

Submit high school transcript or official GED copy

Submit official transcripts for any dual enrollment credit (must be sent via secured site such as National Student Clearinghouse)

Send in official AP scores if credit was earned

Send in official CLEP scores if credit was earned

Fill out FAFSA or have indicated on application/ tell your admissions counselor you will not be completing the FAFSA

Apply for St. Newman scholarship or ASC scholarship (review eligibility criteria) You will use the same login and password here as for the admission application.

Review Financial Aid Offer - Accept/Decline Loans

Review updated Financial Aid Offer (if awarded special scholarship)

Schedule Cost Estimate with Admissions Counselor (Optional)

Pay enrollment deposit and complete TB form (all students) & housing deposit (if also living on campus)

Complete housing application or off-campus housing waivers

Schedule appointment with admissions counselor and enroll for classes

Take the Math Placement Assessment

Use NU Pay to set up payment plan or pay full balance

Register for Orientation

Attend Orientation
