Our Bachelors of Science in Organizational Leadership, from the Newman School of Business, is designed for non-traditional students who have some college but have not completed their degree. This curriculum is a great degree-completion choice for working adults who desire a four-year college degree as you will sharpen your skills in: communication, problem-solving, decision-making, strategy development, leadership and ethical business practices.

Online or On Ground

While this program is fully online, students may elect to take on-ground courses, when available, if they so choose. Moreover, we make transferring to Newman easy! Our programs allow previous credits to transfer to Newman from any accredited university. Plus, tuition is very affordable. You may you may even qualify for transfer scholarships.

Convenient Start Dates

Our online programs are designed to meet your schedule and begin every 8 weeks. Classes run continuously throughout the year to help accelerate your degree completion.

Our business students have the opportunity to gain real-world experience by interning in the Wichita community. Internships allow you to gain experience in advertising, banking, communications, entrepreneurial ventures, financial services, government agencies, healthcare, management, marketing, non-profit organizations, retail, service industries, and trading.

Get Involved on Campus

One of the best ways to find success during your college career is to get involved in campus clubs and organizations. Within our business program, our students can join the Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO), Multicultural Leadership Organization (MCLO), National Society of Leadership & Success (NSLS), and many others. These organizations allow for personal growth, networking, and future career success.

Success Story — Easton Julian, Class of 2016

Recent Newman University alumnus, Easton Julian, graduated from our business program with a job already in place at Textron Aviation, as a customer account coordinator. When Easton was asked to reflect on his time at Newman University, he stated, “I think Newman has a great value and I think it’s because you get to know your professors by name. Even the president [of Newman] knew my name. You get a personal relationship with everyone at Newman.”

Success Story — Susan Pool, Class of 1980

Newman University alumna, Susan Pool, was named one of the 20 honorees in the Wichita Business Journal’s class of 2015 Women in Business on July 21st. The Business Journal highlights 20 women in the Wichita community who have made a significant contribution to the community. Susan is a founding member of TrueNorth, a wealth management and retirement plan consultation provider. She graduated from Newman in 1980 with bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and History.
