Patrick Nance

After graduating from Newman University in 2005 Professor Nance began his career at a International Software firm programming tax software as a tax analyst. In this position he was responsible for programming specific state tax forms and providing during tech support for the product during tax season. During this time Professor Nance was also earning his MBA. Professor Nance then moved on to working in Public accounting working for two firms in both Audit and Tax. Accounting work focused on non-profits and small businesses. During this time Professor Nance sat for and subsequently passed the CPA exam, and still maintains his license to practice public accounting in the state of Kansas. Professor Nance then began his teaching career at Butler Community College where he taught for 6 years before beginning his teaching career at Newman University as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in 2016. Professor Nance is finishing up year two of course work on his Doctorate at Anderson University, in Anderson Indiana.
