Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL)

The CTL is a welcoming, inclusive learning space for all members of the Newman community involved with learning in any instructional mode or context. This includes instructors (full-and part-time) across all disciplines and programs, as well as students, admin, or staff with an interest in instructional development.

At the CTL, we assist instructors to teach well by taking actions that enable student learning. We are committed to growing the practice of learner-centered approaches throughout Newman. You can expect programming that energizes and connects participants through open dialogue, research, feedback, and reflection. Because the link between faculty growth and student success is strong, we exist for the ultimate purpose of having a positive impact on student learning.
