Hiring For the Mission

Newman University and its sponsoring congregation, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, believe it is vital that all employees experience a good “fit” between their work at NU and the mission of the university. We invite you to learn more about Newman’s mission, heritage, and other identity documents prior to an interview.

We want to provide potential candidates for positions at Newman University with information about its sponsoring congregation, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, and the university’s mission, vision and core values, so you can take the initiative to prepare yourself for a mission and heritage related exchange during the interview process.

We also want to assure that those, who are hired, understand, appreciate, and are committed to learning about and living the mission in their employment at Newman University.

By acquainting yourself with these documents, the interview process will be enhanced and will enable the person selected for the position to begin as soon as possible to assist the university in living into its vision and continuing to provide a rich heritage for the entire Newman community.

Applications, curricula vitae and resumés for faculty and staff positions are forwarded by Human Resources to the appropriate hiring supervisor or selection committee for review. Applicants who are selected for an interview will interview with the hiring supervisor, selection committee, and other appropriate personnel. All applicants applying for an open position will be notified of their status once the position has been filled or a search is terminated.
