Radiologic technologists are highly skilled professionals who assist the radiologist (a physician) in the diagnosis of disease using ionizing radiation. As a radiologic technologist, you will: provide care to patients during radiographic procedures; position patients for accurate radiographic projections; determine the amount of radiation needed for proper diagnostic image; be knowledgeable of radiation safety practices.
Program Curriculum
Program instruction is 22 months (5 semesters) with instruction in the clinical setting and campus classroom. You will learn theory and principles in the classroom and laboratories, and apply this knowledge in clinical settings.
