Amount: $17,500/year
Named for and sponsored by the founders of Newman University, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ or "ASC" sisters, the ASC Service Award and corresponding program are designed to enhance the servant leadership skills of students who demonstrate a commitment to civic engagement. This award replaces any previously-awarded Newman Academic Scholarship, Jet Community Award, or Catholic Promise/Leaders Grant and may only be stackable with Athletics and Honors.

Eligibility
- Cumulative 3.00+ GPA
- Significant demonstrated commitment to leadership & volunteerism (no minimum service hour requirement)
- Completed application for admission & acceptance
- Completed scholarship application (includes submission of picture & résumé)
- Interview with program directors during Scholarship Interview Day
Requirements
- Complete 45 hours of community service per semester
- Maintain a cumulative 2.75+ GPA
- Participate in one semester-long service/leadership class per year

- Saturday, January 18, 2025
- Must submit application by December 13, 2025 (Initial Deadline) to be eligible to attend and interview!
- Saturday, February 22, 2025
- Must submit application by January 31, 2025 (Final Deadline) to be eligible to attend and interview!
