Master of Science in Biomedical Science

The Master of Science in Biomedical Science degree is a pre-matriculation/post-baccalaureate program in the biological sciences designed to prepare pre-health professional students for their professional school programs as well as their admissions exams. This will be a program with a relatively very few students enrolled, providing for very personal contact between students and instructors. In addition, there is a unique assortment of courses present in the program that should provide students with an exceptional preparation for professional schools and admission exams. Lastly, we know of no other similar program in the Wichita area.

Learning Outcomes

Thorough understanding of advanced concepts related to physiology, biochemistry, anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology neuroscience, microbiology/immunology, and cellular/molecular biology. In addition, coursework will include instruction on methods of study as well as medical ethics.
