    Get Involved!

    One of the best ways to find success during your college career is to get involved in campus clubs and organizations. Within our biology program, our students can join the Newman University Medical Professions Club (NUMPC), an organization that gives students of all pre-professional medical disciplines the opportunities for mentoring and community involvement (including mission trips). This organization allows for personal growth, networking, and future career success. Students can also explore the STEM Club that hold campus-wide events to promote STEM to the NU and Wichita communities.

At NU, Biology students engage in hands on learning within the Bishop Gerber Science Center's state-of-the art laboratories. The biology curriculum, taught by qualified faculty, provides comprehensive knowledge and equips students with real-world skills needed to pursue a career as a doctor, dentist, physician assistant, optometrist, pharmacist, physical therapist, veterinarian, athletic trainer, chiropractor, occupational therapist, researcher, or science related profession.
