Our theme for the 6th Annual Giving Day on February 26, 2025, is Together We Give, Together We Grow. Since this University’s inception, we’ve accomplished incredible things by coming together as a community. This year we are hosting our first ever, Student Club Giving Challenge. Each club is raising money for areas of campus this Giving Day with the club that raises the most AND the club that has the most donors receiving a $500 donation from our generous matching gift donors
Donate on this page and help the Psychology Club win the Student Club Giving Challenge. If they win, they would use the money for more engaging events. They have ideas for outside events like escape rooms, picnics, workshops, etc. and for bringing better resources on campus like VR simulators.

The Gaming Club is hosting a night FULL of game shows, with plenty of prizes and plenty of chances to play. Donations to the university can give you more chances to play. Learn more here
Pop Culture Pandemonium Trivia Night - February 28
Join us on February 28 when Student Affairs will be raising money for Giving Day during their annual Trivia Night. Text your pop culture knowledge in this ultimate exercise of random facts. Fun Drawings!
Free Dorm Housing Drawing
For every $100 donated to the Student Affairs Fund, you will be entered into a raffle for free dorm housing for a semester for the student of your choice. Rules include:
- Each $100 donation to Student Affairs entitles the donor to one entry in the drawing
- Donors may designate themselves or an eligible student for each entry.
- The winner of the drawing will receive a semester of free housing, but they must select a room in a dorm for which they are eligible.
- Winning the drawing does not guarantee a single room; the winner must choose from available rooms within their eligible dorm.
- The winner of this drawing will still have to pay for their meal plan
Wine & Chocolate Basket
For each $20 donation made to the School of Healthcare Professions, you will be entered into a drawing for a wine and chocolate basket, valued at $200.
MIAA Network Membership
For each $20 donation made to Athletics, you will be entered into a drawing for a free MIAA Network Membership, valued at $140. With the membership, you can watch almost all the MIAA contests online.
Online & Donor Competitions
Quittin’ Time –The person who donates closest to 5 PM (CST) will get an extra $100.00 added to the same fund they donated to.
Night Owls – Donate after 11pm and be entered into a drawing for an extra $100.00 added to the same fund you donated to.
Early Birds - Donate before 6am and be entered into a drawing for an extra $100.00 added to the same fund you donated to.
Art Lovers – Donate to the Fine Arts Department before 2pm and be entered into a drawing for an extra $100.00 for Fine Arts.
Be True to your School – Donate to any of the schools before 6pm and be entered into a drawing for an extra $100.00 to the School you donated too.
Fanatics - Donate to the Athletics before 8pm and be entered into a drawing for an extra $100.00 for Athletics.
Give with Faith - Donate to Metanoia before 4pm and be entered into a drawing for an extra $100.00 to Metanoia.
Facebook Share - Share on Giving Day one of our Giving Day post on Facebook before 2pm and be entered into a drawing for $100.00 to be added to the fund of your choice.
Post on Instagram - Post a photo on Giving Day of you wearing your Newman Gear on Instagram before 6pm with the #givetonewman and be entered into a drawing for $100.00 to be added to the fund of your choice.
