This program prepares you to enter the workforce or to continue your studies in law school or a graduate program. About Our Business Program
BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN MANAGEMENT
This degree focuses on preparing you for leadership roles in a variety of industries.
- Operate as a CEO, president, administrator, manager, supervisor, leader, or facilitator
- Manage a business in a variety of fields including healthcare, government or service industries
- Work alongside other administrators in financial institutions
While earning your Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, you can expect to take courses including Principles of Management, Managerial Finance, Operations Management, and Strategic Management. A complete four-year plan of study can be found here.
BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN GENERAL BUSINESS
This degree focuses on preparing you for a role in finance or general business.
- Work as a banker or financial advisor
- Direct and oversee an organization’s financial or marketing activities
- Continue education at a master’s or doctoral level, in preparation for a career in education

Our business students have the opportunity to gain real-world experience by interning in the Wichita community. Internships allow you to gain experience in advertising, banking, communications, entrepreneurial ventures, financial services, government agencies, healthcare, management, marketing, non-profit organizations, retail, service industries, and trading.
Get Involved on Campus
One of the best ways to find success during your college career is to get involved in campus clubs and organizations. Within our business program, our students can join the Newman Accounting Students Association (NASA) and the Multicultural Leadership Organization. These organizations allow for personal growth, networking, and future career success.

Success Story — Easton Julian, Class of 2016

She graduated from Newman in 1980 with bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and History.
