John McCormick

Son, brother, husband, father, friend, colleague, gardener, and still figuring out what I want to do when I grow up. Can read both the Bible and the balance sheet. Interested in the intersection between faith and work, theology and business. Always seeking to understand how things are connected. Hoping to build bridges between people, ideas, disciplines, and means.

My roots are in the soil,

My roots are in the soil,

Nourished by wind and sun and rain,

I do not mind my toil,

For I do not labor in vain.

I will keep and tend my garden,

I will till and plant and weed,

Wait joyfully for the harvest,

And carefully preserve the seed.

The land is a generous mother,

My garden again gives birth,

May we too learn to share with each other,

So that peace may reign upon earth.
