Jeanette Parker has worked in academic libraries for more than twenty years. She has held several different positions: library director, serials librarian, circulation manager, interlibrary loan librarian and is currently the reference and instruction librarian at Newman University. Jeanette grew up in Wichita and has lived in Kansas her whole life.
Jeanette completed her bachelor's of science degree in Family Ministry and Bible from Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas. After accepting a position as library director at Barclay College, Jeanette completed a master's degree in library and information management from Emporia State University. Jeanette left Barclay College and joined the library staff at Friends University where she completed a master's degree in Christian Ministry. Most recently, Jeanette has started work on her Ph.D. in Library and Information Management and hopes to complete that degree in 2023.
