What would be your number-one tip for the admissions process?

First, research! Then, communicate and ask your counselor as many questions as you need.

Once you get a feel for what each school offers, decide what’s most important to you and determine which option suits you best. From there, trust that your counselor has your back, (I solemnly swear to have it!)

If you are looking for academic excellence, a community that feels like a family, and a personalized education that will equip you with the skills to get the job, often before the degree, Newman University is a great option for you – shoot me an email, or call me with any questions you have!

What is your most memorable undergraduate experience?

Being a collegiate athlete (golfer) and playing amazing golf courses over the course of my eligibility (Daytona Beach, Pinehurst, and one of the Pebble Beach courses to name just a few!) The team and competition environment is something I’ll never forget. My senior year was when WSU Basketball went to the Final Four. I remember the excitement that ran through the athletics department. We were being stopped at airports travelling to tournaments. It was such a special time to be an athlete, and it’s amazing how the success of one team can have a ripple effect across campus.

What is your ideal vacation destination?

Being British we travelled a lot growing up. My ideal vacation destination is my #1 country to visit, Italy. You get the best of everything: ancient ruins/history, architecture, natural scenery, perfect weather, and the best cuisine.

I love to cook, bake, read, research, and binge watch shows. I recently bought a bread maker, so I can make fresh bread and jam – it is probably my favorite appliance!

I also love history (historical books/movies/shows), or just anything knowledge building in general.

My chosen super power

I’d chose teleportation/apparition since my family are in England, and I’d love to be able to spend weekends with them, or pop in for my mum’s home cooked meals! I also love Harry Potter and hope to get my Hogwarts acceptance letter one day!

What are five things you cannot live without?

My family, especially my husband, Stefan, iPhone, (since I’m always doing research, but also for GPS as my directional skills are embarrassing regardless of how hard I try) my cat baby, Sapphire, a regular skincare routine and Earl Grey tea.
