There is nothing quite like practicing piano in the rehearsal hall in De Mattias. The echo is gorgeous and can make even the most novice piano player sound one step away from being Mozart!
Focus on finding your fit. A school may have good programs or be the one everyone wants you to go to, but it may not feel right to you. Trust your gut!
My most memorable experiences all happened during my extracurricular activities at Newman. From receiving a standing ovation as Lucy Pevensie in “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” to working to pass $15,000 in renovations for the Fugate Student Center as Student Body President. Getting involved helped me feel a part of something bigger than myself!
