Mallory Arellano

I am originally from a small town north of Kansas City, MO. I moved to Garden City, KS to begin my first year of teaching in 2010. I worked for USD 457, Garden City Public Schools, for the past 8 years. This is my first year working for Newman. I am married with 2 young children.

I completed my undergraduate degree at NWMSU in Maryville, MO, earning a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish Education. I completed an ESOL endorsement in 2012 through Newman. I completed my first master's degree in 2015 in K-12 Special Education through FHSU. I finished my second master's degree in curriculum & instruction through Newman in 2016. I am currently deciding which program and university to complete a doctoral degree in the near future.
