Associate of Science in Information Technology

This degree focuses on preparing you to perform basic IT system functions.

  • Work at a digital software or marketing firm
  • Perform data entry or analytical research in various companies and facilities
  • Pursue a bachelor’s degree or research study in technology

While earning your Associate of Science in Information Technology, you can expect to take classes including Introduction to Information Technology, Database Management Systems, Concepts of Computer Hardware and Computer Programming 1.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (A.S.)

18 total credit hours including:

  • IT 2023 Concepts of Computer Hardware
  • IT 2033 Introduction to Information Technology
  • IT 2043 Database Management Systems
  • IT 2053 Programming 1
  • IT 3043 Concepts of Management Information Systems
  • IT electives—3 credit hours (not IT 1003)
