About our Information Technology Program
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
This degree focuses on preparing you to work with a variety of technology and systems.
- Monitor networks and develop softwares
- Analyze computer systems and data communication
- Function as a computer programmer
While earning your Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, you can expect to take courses including Concepts of Computer Hardware, Intro to Programming, Computers in Society, and Web Design and Development. A complete four-year plan of study can be found here.
Associate of Science in Information Technology
This degree focuses on preparing you to perform basic IT system functions.

While pursuing a degree in information technology, you can expect a promising future. Employment of computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow a rapid 12% from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. Network systems and data communications analysts are also predicted to be the second-fastest growing occupation in the economy.
A degree in IT will give you the opportunity to work in a variety of fields and specialties related to history. Here are some examples of potential careers:

Over the past few years, we have placed and tracked students in 21 internships. Seventeen of these internships have resulted in full-time job offers from Learjet/Bombardier, Koch Industries, Spirit Aerosystems, Via Christi, Agvantis, and NetApp.
