MBA - Concentration in Project Management

The MBA in Project Management Concentration provides practical hands-on application that focuses on understanding budgeting and project management, project leadership-skills development, and analytical data analysis, all designed for a successful project roll-out. Additional topics include detailed agile project management practices (using the latest scaled agile framework processes), developing self-organizing teams, and critical agile project management.

  • BSAD 6105 Personal Leadership - 3 credits
  • BSAD 6433 Data Analysis and Visualization - 3 credits

  • BSAD 6833 Agile Project Management - 3 credits

Looking for a Certification Instead of an MBA degree?

The Newman University School of Business also offers a Graduate Project Management Certificate. The certificate program is designed to be completed within one year and is for:

  • Individuals who have already completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to sharpen their skills  or for the MBA graduate. The certificate coursework can later be directly applied toward the MBA degree concentration.
  • Individuals who have already completed an MBA, or other graduate degree, can further develop their professional training by completing additional graduate certificates in any of the supplemental fields offered by the Newman School of Business.
