School Social Work Endorsement

Newman University is an approved institution to offer coursework for Colorado's School Social Worker endorsement. The School Social Worker endorsement is designed to prepare participants holding an MSW to become effective practitioners within the context of the K-12 public and charter education system.

Social workers working within school systems provide services to students to enhance their emotional well-being and improve their academic performance. Coursework for the school social work endorsement provides a theoretical and evidence-based perspective on social work methods in K-12 education.
