Linda (Dix) Keiser '80

The Mother of Linda Keiser, Dorothy A. Dix, 82, passed away September 16, 2011.  Dorothy was a homemaker and retired USD #259 secretary, and member of St. Jude Catholic Church.  She is survived by husband, Charles Dix; children: Mike,  Rod (Linda), Steven, Janet Flener, Linda (Fred) Keiser,  Deanna Dix and Allyson Dix.  There are 8 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren.  One granddaughter, Ann Dix Martin '00,  is also a Newman alum.  Sending our sympathy...

Ann Barbara Keller, 89, died 8/23/2011.  Ann came to the U.S. at 22 months of age when her immigrant parents settled in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Later she met and married Larry Keller, at that time an FBI agent in the Cincinnati office.  Later their life travels included Buenos Aires, Argentina, Washington D.C. and finally Wichita, KS.    Mrs. Keller was the widow of G. Billy M. Martin

Billy M. Martin, principal engineer at Cessna Aircraft, was honored with the SAE International Technical Standards Board Outstanding Contribution Award.  This award recognized individuals for outstanding service in the technical committee activities of the Society.  Mr. Martin has worked at Cessna Aircraft for over 21 years, where he is currently a principal engineer and the supervisor of the EME group.
