Lauren '85 (Porzenheim) Wright

Anne Elizabeth (Tyler) Porzenheim, 78, retired dental hygenist and realtor passed away April 11, 2011.  She is survived by daughters, Lauren Wright, Carvel Reinsch and Melinda Porzenheim.  There are three grandchildren.  Sending our sympathy to the family.

Bob Diepenbrock earned his Doctorate of Education degree from Wichita State University.   Bob is Superintendent of Kingman United School District 331.

Matt Wendling was featured in the May 27, 2011 Wichita Business Journal.  At age 18, Matt got a job as a a bank teller at Eastside Bank & Trust--which eventually became Citadel and then Bank IV.  That was 1985.  It was the start of a banking career that he never left.  Happily, Matt is at home in Wichita where he spends a lot of time with his family. Marjorie Chance

When the nursing program at St. Francis needed a collegiate home, Chance played a key role in connecting St. Francis Hospital with Newman and establishing the nursing program at the university.  Marj Chance graduated from St. Francis Hospital's School of Nursing as a registered nurse, but spent most of her working career helping operate the amusement ride manufacturing company founded by her late husband, Harold.  She was actively involved in Chance Manufacturing Co. Johnadine (Driskill) Jester SHA '61

Johnadine (Driskill) Jester SHA '61 died on June 17, 2011 in Cheney, KS.  She was 68 and past tooling department employee at Boeing Aircraft.  She is survived by:  husband, Garry, sons Dale (Domae),  Jason (Stacie); daughters:  Mary (Donnie) Cowhick, and Suzie Jester.  There are ten grandchildren.  Sending our sympathy to the Jester family.

Megan Cox '10 and (Kenneth) Brandon Pratt '10

'10 Megan Cox and '10 Brandon Pratt marrried on May 28, 2011.  Megan has joined Rowley, Snyder, Ablah Marketing Services as Associate Art Director and Brandon is completing his graduate work at Emporia State University.  Megan and Brandon reside in Wichita, KS.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Michael E. Boose, 58, died May 24, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.  Survivors include: Mother, Blanche (Wieser) Boose, brothers Tim (Connie), Dan (Kyle), Tony, sisters: Patty '72, '92 (Ron) Griffin, Rosemary (Wayne) Howlett and Amy (David) Cluck.  Sending our sympathy to the family.

Angie Marie (Pogue) Batson '85

Angie Marie (Pogue) Batson, 46, passed away on May 15, 2011.  Angie was a homemaker and previous RN at Wesley Hospital.  She was a Girl Scout  leader and volunteer, NASCAR fan, antiquer and she loved her kids and family.  Survivors include, husband Bret; sons: Seth (Emilee) Belt and Jesse (Nicole) Belt; daughters Jade and Lacie Batson.  Sending our sympathy to the Batson family.
