Bart Grelinger '82

Kansas Newman College (1973-1998)
 Bart Grelinger, a neurologist, has been named the new president of the Medical Society of Sedgwick County. Born in Wichita, but grew up in Beloit, Grelinger attended Newman University back when it was still Kansas Newman College and went to University of Kansas School of Medicine. Since 2005, Grelinger has owned Neurology Consultants of Kansas with three other physicians.

Melissa Grelinger '82

Melissa Grelinger has been appointed interim executive director of Catholic Charities, a ministry of the Diocese of Wichita. Grelinger is a Wichita native attended Patrick Catholic High School and went to Bishop Carrol High School and Newman University. For over the past 3 years she has been a member of Catholic Charities board of directors.

Tom Stolz '80

Tom Stolz graduated from Newman University in 1980 with a Bachelor’s degree in medical biology and received his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University in 1992. Tom has held positions ranging from undercover narcotics detective and deputy police chief, Wichita Police Department, 1982-2012. Rosemary Dugan '62

Congratulations to Paul and Rosemary Dugan on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The couple got married on Dec. 29, 1962 at St. Johns Church in Clonmel, KS. Rosemary is a professional artist and member of Gallery Xll. Paul is an attorney with Dugan and Dugan Law Firm. They have 4 children, Maria, Paul Jr., Annie, and Tom, and 8 grandchildren.

Engagement announcement of Jennifer Jameson and Matthew Keller, who plan to marry in May 18, 2013, at Eberly Farm in Wichita.  Bride to be graduated from Newman University with a degree in elementary education and is currently teaching the fourth grade at Buhler Grade School.

Sara Marie Ratzenberger, daughter of Mary Ann Youngers peacefully entered into Heaven on Nov. 8, 2012.  Sara had been battling lung cancer for 2 ½ years and never did it change her sense of humor or faith. Sr. Ruth Klein, 97, died Oct. 13, 2012, in the Dominican Sisters of Peace convent infirmary in Great Bend. Originally from Lincoln, Neb, Sister Ruth entered the Dominican Sisters’ Community in Great Bend July 2, 1930. She celebrated 75 years of religious profession in 2008.  Sister Ruth began her ministerial life by being a 1st-4th grade teacher and would later teach music lessons to high school and college students.
