Student Referrals

If you have a student who is experiencing problems, you can refer him/her to the Academic Resource Center by completing the referral form.

Session Summaries

With your student's consent, we can send a summary of each coaching session to you, keeping you informed of how often your student attends the Academic Resource Center and what kind of accomplishments are being made.

Academic Resource Center Orientations

The Academic Resource Center staff will gladly come to your class and give a brief overview of the Center and the services we provide. In return, you're welcome to bring your students to us for the orientation so they can become familiar with our location. To schedule an orientation, contact us.

Workshops

The Academic Resource Center staff also provides small-group workshops for faculty and students who have common tutoring concerns, such as responding to others' work, creating an effective thesis statement, or editing and proofreading techniques. We're happy to offer the workshops at your place or ours! Workshop examples include: Identifying and Preventing Plagiarism, Evaluating Writing Assignments, or a host of other ideas. Let us know your needs as we can develop a workshop on almost any topic! To find out more about workshops, contact us.
