About Our Paralegal Program
Paralegal Associate of Science
This degree focuses on preparing you for an administrative role assisting in court cases.
- Gather facts from clients and witnesses
- Write trial and appellate briefs
- Handle a multitude of procedural matters that require independent judgment
While earning your Paralegal Associate of Science, you can expect to take courses including Legal Ethics, Legal Research, and Introduction to Para and Law. A complete two-year plan of study can be found here.

In the practice of law, many tasks formerly done by attorneys are now performed by paralegals, also called legal assistants. Often these tasks can be completed more promptly, efficiently and economically by paralegals.
